Hindi Synopsis: Nirmala Gupta runs her household and family in a very strick and authoritarian manner. While familymembers do obey her and carry out her instructions, so as to be on her good side. Things started to change after her second son gets married with Anju. After few weks Manju (Rekha) , Anju's sister, comes over to stay for a few days with the Gupta family, and is fun loving girl accepted by everyone in the family including Ashoka kumar except Nirmala.
